More Than a Few Good Men Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that is faith-based and geared toward providing mentors to improve the lives of young men in the community.  The mentors teach the importance of valuing life, good and effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, character building, moral values, self identity, building self esteem, and most of all the importance of having a personal relationship with God. 

 

The organization was formed back in June of 2014, by a small group of men who had the same thought process in mind, "tired of seeing our young men fall victim to the streets." The men ran with the idea of putting on a Father's Day breakfast, where they had over 70+ men attend the event.  That day several men gave their testimonies, visions, and vows as men in the community to come together to mentor the younger generation.  Since that day the mentoring group has been doing extremely well by the GRACE of GOD. 

 

Currently More Than a Few Good Men Inc. has 4 mentors, and 15 active mentees in the program.  The mentoring group believes in community service, and why it is important to give back to your community.  The male mentoring group is looking to expand the organization to other cities, and also starting a young ladies mentoring program.  We are always looking for mentors, or if you would just like to volunteer in anyway possible.
